5 - 20 Minutes For Yourself

Give yourself the precious gift
of 5 – 20 minutes, every day,
just for yourself.

And just to feel your body.

It’s a simple, extraordinary and
exquisite experience.

These 5-20 minutes are a beautiful,
generous, loving gift to yourself.

Let’s explore together.

Start by taking a few deeper breaths,
notice your breathing,
and just feel your body.

Make yourself more comfortable, if you like.

There’s no right or wrong way to do this,
there’s nothing to achieve,
there’s nothing to accomplish,
there’s nothing to attain.

Yet there’s so much to explore
and feel, and discover.

Feel your body with curiosity
and kindness to yourself,
as you keep engaging with your breath.

If any resistance is there, it’s ok,
just be curious about it.
If your mind wanders, that’s ok,
just bring your awareness back to
feeling your body.

You can explore taking deeper, longer breaths.
And notice if the breath helps you focus
on the body, in the present moment.
All is welcome here.
This is a place where you can fully
allow yourself to just be.

Feel your body in all the ways
you can possibly feel it.
Whatever emotions are there,
let them be here too, and feel them
with curiosity and kindness to yourself.

You can ask yourself,

“What am I feeling as I feel my body?”

Feel your feet, your legs, your hips,
feel the front of your body, your belly and
your chest, and keep breathing as you feel the sides of your torso,
feel your lower back, your middle back,
and upper back.

Feel your hands, feel the backs of your hands,
feel your fingers, and the palms of your hands.
Feel for the energy in the palms
of your hands.

Feel your wrists, forearms, upper arms,
and shoulders, take another deep breath,
and let your shoulders relax as you exhale.
Feel your neck, your throat, your jaw,
feel your mouth, lips, teeth, and tongue,
feel your nose, your cheeks, your ears,
feel your forehead, your eyes,
your whole face.
Feel your head, your brain,
your skull, your scalp, and your hair.

Feel your whole body.

Feel the skin all over your body,
and the space around your body
touching your skin.

Feel the energy in your body
and around your body.
Feel your energy field.

Feel your body vibrating with life,
and feel the vibration
of your whole body.

Feel your light body
– every cell in your body emits light.
And through your own Source connection,
every cell in your body absorbs the light
of your infinite being, sparkling,
radiant light.

Notice what happens to the light of your body,
the light of your being,
as you breathe
in and out.

You are an infinite being of love
and radiant light,
and you can access more and more
of your true being,
when you can give yourself this precious gift
of 5-20 minutes, every day.

It’s the greatest and most worthwhile
adventure, exploration and
journey possible.

Give yourself some time everyday
to feel your body.

And see what happens,
with patience and curiosity.

Curiosity

Curiosity is our natural ability to look at things with fresh eyes. As we put aside opinions, concepts, projections, and expectations: we become available to experience this moment with the wonder and innocence of a child. 

Being curious brings us into a natural, open, and vast space to explore: “What is this?” “What am I experiencing?” “What am I feeling?”

4. Bring more awareness to what you are feeling. Focus on your felt experience and the qualities of the Inner Resource as you embody it. Resist the habit to analyze. Simply feel your body and emotions. 

5. Be open to your current experience, whatever it is, without judgment. Just ride the wave of the experience.

6. Remember that the quality of your attention and what you are feeling are more important than the content. Notice how your attention changes, waxing and waning, growing stronger, and sometimes getting distracted. No worries, simply bring your awareness back to the moment, take a deep breath, and focus on the Inner Resource.

7. Become familiar with the feelings and sensations of the Inner Resource you have chosen. Feel what is showing up in your physical body and your emotional body. Be curious to discover how this Inner Resource will support you in your life, to be who you really want to be, and feel how you really want to feel. It is through feeling the Inner Resource that you activate the frequency of it. 

Take 5 Deep Breaths

1. Feel your body.

2. Relax your shoulders.

3. Choose a word that makes you feel peaceful, such as om, peace, or love.

4. Inhale slowly while mentally saying the word you chose. Pause before starting the exhalation.

5. Exhale slowly while mentally saying 1 with the first breath. Exhale saying 2 with the second breath, up to 5 or more.

Feel Your Body

Relax your body, and just be aware of how your body feels. Be curious about what is happening in your body. Without changing anything, just notice what you are feeling. Notice where you are feeling things in your body. Make yourself more comfortable if you’d like. Take a deep breath, and feel the sensation of aliveness and the energy of your body.
