7 Days Of Joy

This coming equinox in March we are inviting and
encouraging everyone to participate in activating,
feeling and embodying more joy!

It takes courage to genuinely feel joy in our world where so many are suffering. It is our intention that by infusing the collective consciousness with more joy everyone will get an uplifting taste of joy. Even just a smile can bring joy to everyone around.

Don’t wait for the equinox to start feeling Joy! Joy is accessible within you. It’s always within you, it’s always available, and we are going to discover what it’s like to access, activate, and embody more Joy every day, and see what happens.

3 Key Ways to Activate and Experience More Joy:

1. Make a list of things you know you enjoy and love to do. Be imaginative and uncensored. Write it down. And then do these things, at least one or two every day. Notice what it feels like just to start thinking about all the things you enjoy, and how you will make this happen.

2. Find what you genuinely feel joyful about in the present moment, throughout the day, no matter what is happening, or what you’re doing, There are always things to feel joyful about.

3. Take 5-7 minutes every morning, and before you go to sleep, to simply feel joy within you, focusing on and feeling for the vibrations of joy.

For the equinox weekend especially, imagine, create and get inspired to do things that really bring you lots of joy and happiness. And then plan to do them.

Remember, things don’t always go as expected, we are learning to find joy in each present moment, even when the unexpected happens, and to reset ourselves and our focus to joy… genuine joy.

We are complex beings, and there’s always a lot going on within us! We all have all kinds of feelings all the time. So, no matter what feelings show up, without rejecting them or censoring them, without attaching to them or getting overwhelmed by them, we can shift our attention to feel for joy… genuine joy.

It’s an exploration and a great adventure. What does it really feel like to embody more joy? Let’s find out together.

During The UPLIFT Equinox 7 Days Of Joy we’re focusing on identifying the feeling of joy within us, and in our bodies, becoming more familiar with it, and activating the vibration of Joy with intention and attention.

Let’s be curious and see what happens as we consciously, gratefully, and courageously embody more joy.

It’s our intention to raise the vibration on the planet together, with the planet, by having more fun, smiling more often, and focusing on feeling joyful vibrations infusing ourselves, each other, and our world.

Curiosity

Curiosity is our natural ability to look at things with fresh eyes. As we put aside opinions, concepts, projections, and expectations: we become available to experience this moment with the wonder and innocence of a child. 

Being curious brings us into a natural, open, and vast space to explore: “What is this?” “What am I experiencing?” “What am I feeling?”

4. Bring more awareness to what you are feeling. Focus on your felt experience and the qualities of the Inner Resource as you embody it. Resist the habit to analyze. Simply feel your body and emotions. 

5. Be open to your current experience, whatever it is, without judgment. Just ride the wave of the experience.

6. Remember that the quality of your attention and what you are feeling are more important than the content. Notice how your attention changes, waxing and waning, growing stronger, and sometimes getting distracted. No worries, simply bring your awareness back to the moment, take a deep breath, and focus on the Inner Resource.

7. Become familiar with the feelings and sensations of the Inner Resource you have chosen. Feel what is showing up in your physical body and your emotional body. Be curious to discover how this Inner Resource will support you in your life, to be who you really want to be, and feel how you really want to feel. It is through feeling the Inner Resource that you activate the frequency of it. 

Take 5 Deep Breaths

1. Feel your body.

2. Relax your shoulders.

3. Choose a word that makes you feel peaceful, such as om, peace, or love.

4. Inhale slowly while mentally saying the word you chose. Pause before starting the exhalation.

5. Exhale slowly while mentally saying 1 with the first breath. Exhale saying 2 with the second breath, up to 5 or more.

Feel Your Body

Relax your body, and just be aware of how your body feels. Be curious about what is happening in your body. Without changing anything, just notice what you are feeling. Notice where you are feeling things in your body. Make yourself more comfortable if you’d like. Take a deep breath, and feel the sensation of aliveness and the energy of your body.
