The Morning She Woke Up

The Morning She Woke Up
The Seeds We Plant Will Come Forth

In the midst of all the misery

She woke up from drowning in her tears

Not knowing why it’s been happening

Like a battle every morning

This wasn’t supposed to happen

But she let it …

It’s nobody’s fault but hers

It’s been days, months, even years

Stumbling down the stairs

Burning out, from the fire she started

Looking to blame somebody else

Pointing her finger,

While the rest pointed her way

THE SEEDS WE PLANT WILL COME FORTH

AFTER THEIR KIND

Look at life for its beauty

Dream about wonderful feelings

Trust your heart is healing

Next Morning: She woke up
