Self-Discovery Guidelines to Access and Activate:

Take your time, go slowly, and be patient with yourself to get the best results.

1. Feel your body, take a few moments to settle in. Your body holds deep wisdom. Trust in it. Learn from it. Connect with it.

2. Focus on and bring your awareness to the specific Inner Resource of Curiosity.

Explore the following questions:

Writing down your insights is very helpful, and we encourage you to keep a journal of your explorations, so grab a journal or a pad of paper now!

Can I meet myself anew with my awareness infused with curiosity and wonder?

When we look at something we don’t recognize and don’t know what it is, there is a sense of wonder, openness, and curiosity about it.

What a beautiful new perspective I can bring to everything with curiosity.

I can also bring more kindness and gentleness to myself.

How does this feel? 

In what ways is it different right now to observe myself, my feelings, my emotions, and my experiences with more curiosity and kindness to myself? 

Take a few moments to be curious about yourself.  Use your journal for more discovery and insight.

Often we feel judgment, shame, and/or guilt about ourselves and how we feel. Curiosity is a resource we can use to take a step back in wonder and kindness and break the loop of self-attack.  

It gives us more space, tools, resources, and insight when we bring curiosity and kindness to our feelings, whether positive or negative. Curiosity and kindness allow us to be open to feel our feelings without fully identifying with them. 

Pause for a few moments and consider this. 

Bring curiosity and kindness to the way you feel your body and bring more curiosity to your current experience. Take a deep breath and be curious about that. Try being curious about being curious!

Notice how this has activated this inner resource. Writing down your insights can be very helpful.
