Self-Discovery Guidelines to Access and Activate:

Writing down your insights is very helpful. 

Before you start, we encourage you to keep a journal of your explorations, so grab a journal, pad of paper or print the worksheet below.

1. Feel your body, take a few moments to settle in. Your body holds deep wisdom. Trust in it. Learn from it. Connect with it.

2. Bring your awareness to the specific Inner Resource of Innocence, as you slow down, and take a few deep breaths.

3. Allow the word Innocence to just drop into your field of being and notice what you experience with curiosity and kindness to yourself. 

Take your time, go slowly, and be patient with yourself to get the best results.

Explore the following questions with curiosity and kindness to yourself:

Pure Innocence is the nature of your being.

Can I feel into my original, innate innocence?

Take some time for yourself to be still and undisturbed for several minutes. Feel your body. Curiously investigate within you, exploring and discovering, without needing to know or understand anything. Just be open with kindness towards yourself. And while you do this, consciously ignore and bypass any thoughts passing through your mind, keeping your awareness focused on the background of space and silence within you.

Inquire within yourself, “What do I find as I keep quiet?”

Without paying attention to any commentary about yourself, allow yourself to sink deep into the silence within you.

Can you feel the innocence there?

Feel back into your childhood and notice the qualities that seemed to be more present then, qualities of wonder, excitement, joyfulness…and your innate innocence. Pause and feel into what happens within you as you explore these wonders. 

Take a few deep breaths and let the presence of innocence fill your awareness. Feel pure innocence permeate your being.  

Innocence is a core part of ourselves. 

Without engaging in any self-doubt, you can access the pure field of innocence. By keeping quiet and focusing on the presence of innocence, it will reveal itself. 

Take 5 slow deep breaths. And give yourself a few more minutes to fill with and be absorbed into your own inherent innocence. 

Innocence is an innate aspect of our Being. Like Love, Light, Peace, Silence, Beauty, and Joy, Innocence contains and is entwined with all of those. And all of those contain and are entwined with Innocence. As we access and activate one of these, we automatically open access to activate all of them. Bringing our conscious awareness to each of these allows them to be more prevalent in our life experience.

We invite you to continue this journey of self-discovery. It is not a once-and-done experience. Please revisit this exploration into Innocence and discover how it continues to deepen and enhance the quality of your life.

Take 5 Deep Breaths

1. Feel your body.

2. Relax your shoulders.

3. Choose a word that makes you feel peaceful, such as om, peace, or love.

4. Inhale slowly while mentally saying the word you chose. Pause before starting the exhalation.

5. Exhale slowly while mentally saying 1 with the first breath. Exhale saying 2 with the second breath, up to 5 or more.

Feel Your Body

Relax your body, and just be aware of how your body feels. Without changing anything, notice what you are feeling, and where you are feeling things in your body.  If your body wants to adjust a little, let it. Be curious how it feels as your body relaxes. (Resist any temptation to analyze or think.)
