Guide for Feeling Peace
Take from 5 to 20 minutes once or twice a day
to be still and feel peace.
This gives your body and mind a daily reset and deeply seeds the felt experience of peace as a familiar state you can return to.
Imagine what our lives might feel like if more people bring peace into their lives by choice and internal activation; instead of waiting for life to somehow offer it to them?
Let’s explore what happens when we make the choice to feel peace!
Commit 5 to 20 minutes a day to peace, and notice how the quiet field within you begins to soften, brighten, or open in ways only you can feel.
1. Dedicate time daily. Early morning before the day gets underway, and before you go to bed are good times, screen and distraction free. But of course any time is ok.
2. Stand or sit comfortably, perhaps in front of a window, or outside, or sitting up in bed.
3. Set a timer for 5 to 20 minutes, or longer.
4. Relax, take a deep breath, let your body soften, and allow yourself to arrive fully in this moment.
5. Drop the word PEACE into your field of being. Notice what peace feels like, with curiosity and kindness to yourself.
6. Keep opening to feeling peace, notice your breathing, and feel what happens in your body. There is no right or wrong way to do this. Your experience, whatever it is, is perfect, just as it is.
7. Stay grounded by feeling your body. Notice the support of your body, your feet, your back. Sense your connection to Mother Earth below and around you, and let that grounding support your peace.
8. Feel free to use any instrumental and guided peace meditation for your dedicated peace time.
Even after the timer goes off, keep this feeling of peace with you all day. It’s likely you’ll get distracted by life, no worries, you can always bring your awareness back to feeling peace by taking a deep breath, relaxing, feeling grounded in your body, and consciously choosing to feel peace again.
This immersion is about feeling peace all day long. Make a commitment to yourself of 5 to 20 minutes, at least once a day, of uninterrupted focus on feeling peace.

Curiosity is our natural ability to look at things with fresh eyes. As we put aside opinions, concepts, projections, and expectations: we become available to experience this moment with the wonder and innocence of a child.
Being curious brings us into a natural, open, and vast space to explore: “What is this?” “What am I experiencing?” “What am I feeling?”
4. Bring more awareness to what you are feeling. Focus on your felt experience and the qualities of the Inner Resource as you embody it. Resist the habit to analyze. Simply feel your body and emotions.
5. Be open to your current experience, whatever it is, without judgment. Just ride the wave of the experience.
6. Remember that the quality of your attention and what you are feeling are more important than the content. Notice how your attention changes, waxing and waning, growing stronger, and sometimes getting distracted. No worries, simply bring your awareness back to the moment, take a deep breath, and focus on the Inner Resource.
7. Become familiar with the feelings and sensations of the Inner Resource you have chosen. Feel what is showing up in your physical body and your emotional body. Be curious to discover how this Inner Resource will support you in your life, to be who you really want to be, and feel how you really want to feel. It is through feeling the Inner Resource that you activate the frequency of it.
1. Feel your body.
2. Relax your shoulders.
3. Choose a word that makes you feel peaceful, such as om, peace, or love.
4. Inhale slowly while mentally saying the word you chose. Pause before starting the exhalation.
5. Exhale slowly while mentally saying 1 with the first breath. Exhale saying 2 with the second breath, up to 5 or more.
Relax your body, and just be aware of how your body feels. Be curious about what is happening in your body. Without changing anything, just notice what you are feeling. Notice where you are feeling things in your body. Make yourself more comfortable if you’d like. Take a deep breath, and feel the sensation of aliveness and the energy of your body.
