Writing down your insights during your Inner Resource exploration is extremely helpful. Therefore, we encourage you to keep a journal, notebook, or a pad of paper. You can get one now.
Take your time, go slowly, and be patient with yourself to get the best results.
Let’s get started.
1. Feel your body, settle into the present moment, and take a few deep breaths. Your body holds deep wisdom. Trust in it. Learn from it. Connect with it.
2. Bring your awareness to the specific Inner Resource of Resilience. Say it in your mind and write it down.
3. Allow the word Resilience to drop into your field of being. Keep breathing as you notice your current experience. With curiosity and kindness to yourself explore how Resilience shows up within you.
4. Bring your awareness to what you are feeling. Focus on your current felt experience and the qualities of Resilience as you embody it. Resist the habit of analyzing. Simply feel your body and emotions; just notice what’s happening.
5. Be open to your current experience, whatever it is, without judgment. Just ride the wave of the experience. Write down whatever is happening and what is changing.
6. Remember that the quality of your attention and what you are feeling are more important than the content. Notice how your attention changes, waxing and waning, growing stronger, and sometimes getting distracted. No worries, simply bring your awareness back to the moment, take a deep breath, and focus on the Inner Resource of Resilience.
7. Become familiar with the feelings and sensations of Resilience. This is the frequency and vibration. Your conscious awareness deepens the frequency and accelerates the vibration. Be curious to discover how the Inner Resource of Resilience will support you in your life, to be who you really want to be, and feel how you really want to feel.
8. It is through feeling Resilience that you activate the frequency and accelerate the vibration, which then naturally radiates from within you into the world.
We have tremendous resilience within us.
Just being alive calls for resilience on a daily basis!
No doubt you have experienced a great deal of resilience in your life.
Take a moment to remember a few times when you didn’t know how you would get through something going on in your life, and yet you did.
Take note and write down a few experiences.
Feel the feeling of resilience in your physical body. Resist the habit of thinking about what happened, i.e. the story, or the details of the experiences. Bring your focus to feeling your body. Feel the quality of resilience that guided you through untold multiple challenging experiences, and note all of the feelings that come up.
Take some time to write down the qualities and feelings of resilience that you have experienced.
By writing things down, you naturally deepen your experience, discover more, and further your understanding of how resilient and capable you actually are and have been.
Can you see how every challenge, and even a crisis in your life, has made you stronger and strengthened your resilience?
In what ways did you help and support yourself?
In what ways did you reach out to others for help and support?
Write down what you’re noticing.
Resilience constantly arises within us to meet whatever challenges show up.
Our bodies are resilient in their self-healing capacity, our skin heals, our bones regrow, and our cells reproduce continuously.
Nature is a great example of resilience. Take a few moments to think about the natural world, and how resilient it is. Imagine yourself in nature, notice how that feels in your body.
Can you notice how much resilience nature offers you just by bringing it into your awareness?
Going into nature, walking in nature, or even just sitting indoors with or tending to some potted plants, is so nurturing and powerful. Caring for nature, our pets, or others, also gives us a deeper connection to the powerful force of nature’s love and resilience, whether it’s with potted plants, or in a garden, a beloved pet or in any other way.
No doubt you have experienced many difficult and painful feelings in your life, and yet you are still here! The emotional body is also very resilient! You are still breathing, laughing, smiling, loving, caring, and wanting to find more meaning and aliveness in your life. This is a testament to your innate resilience.
In the face of reappearing conflict in our personal lives, in our relationships, in our communities, and in our world, as we deepen into our own experience of resilience, we can affirm and trust that others can find resilience too, all peoples in the world can find more resilience.
It starts with each of us. And as we individually and collectively become more resilient, we will naturally create a more loving world, for ourselves, for each other, and for everyone.
You are naturally resilient! Rejoice, share, and inspire others.
We invite you to continue this journey of self-discovery. It is not a once-and-done experience. Please regularly revisit this exploration into resilience, and discover how it continues to deepen and enhance the quality of your life.
