Self-Discovery Guidelines to Access and Activate:
Gentleness

Take your time, go slowly, and be patient with yourself to get the best results.

1. Feel your body, take a few moments to settle in. Your body holds deep wisdom. Trust in it. Learn from it. Connect with it.

2. Focus on and bring your awareness to the specific Inner Resource of Gentleness.

Explore the following questions:

Writing down your insights is very helpful, and we encourage you to keep a journal of your explorations, so grab a journal or a pad of paper now!

Can I bring more gentleness to myself? 

Knowing what I have been through, can I offer more gentleness to myself? 

Can I bring a feeling of gentleness to myself right now? What does this feel like?

No one else knows what I have been through. No one knows my pain or how hard I have tried. No one knows how much heartbreak I carry. 

Only I know what I have been through. 

Slow down and take a few moments or minutes to bring gentleness to yourself, right in the places you need it. Take a few deep breaths and relax with each exhalation. Notice how it feels in your body as gentleness flows into you. Be gently present with whatever emotions come up, bringing curiosity and offering kindness to yourself. Take your time. Keep breathing.

Feel how the gentleness flows into and through your body, heart, mind, and inner being.

Ground yourself by feeling your body’s connection to Mother Earth. Breathe deeply a few more times. 

Gentleness and forgiveness go hand in hand. See if you can offer them both to yourself.
