Self-Discovery Guidelines to Access and Activate:
Freedom

Writing down your insights is very helpful. 

Before you start, we encourage you to keep a journal of your explorations, so grab a journal, pad of paper or print the worksheet below.

1. Feel your body, take a few moments to settle in. Your body holds deep wisdom. Trust in it. Learn from it. Connect with it.

2. Bring your awareness to the specific Inner Resource of Freedom, as you slow down, and take a few deep breaths.

3. Allow the word Freedom to just drop into your field of being and notice what you experience with curiosity and kindness to yourself. 

Take your time, go slowly, and be patient with yourself to get the best results.

Explore the following questions with curiosity and kindness to yourself:

What does freedom mean to me? 

Can I feel the essence of freedom within me?

Can you find inherent freedoms within you that no one could ever take away?

For instance, consider your freedom to think, imagine, dream, cultivate opinions, to challenge, to love, to inspire, to care and respond to any given situation.

Take a few deep breaths, feel your body, and bring your awareness to focus on the feelings and essence of freedom. And not only what it means to you, but how it feels to you.

Feelings flow and change. That’s how they are. So, bring curiosity to your feelings and just notice with kindness what happens in your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual bodies.

Take note and/or write down what freedom means to you and how it feels in your body.

In what ways do you experience freedom right now?

And in what ways do you notice any restrictions on freedom?

Where do you feel inspired to bring more freedom into your life?

Consider having more inner freedom. What would that look like?

Consider having more freedom in your personal life. What would that look like?

Consider having more freedom in the world. What would that look like?

Can you access the essence of freedom as a direct, felt sense in your body?

Write down or take note of the feelings and sensations of freedom, or what we might call the frequency of freedom.

Your body’s intelligence and sensitive awareness systems will guide you and remind you of what feels good to you and what does not. It will show you the things about freedom that resonate with you and feel right and what does not.

What have you found are your inherent freedoms?

Take 5 Deep Breaths

1. Feel your body.

2. Relax your shoulders.

3. Choose a word that makes you feel peaceful, such as om, peace, or love.

4. Inhale slowly while mentally saying the word you chose. Pause before starting the exhalation.

5. Exhale slowly while mentally saying 1 with the first breath. Exhale saying 2 with the second breath, up to 5 or more.

Feel Your Body

Relax your body, and just be aware of how your body feels. Without changing anything, notice what you are feeling, and where you are feeling things in your body.  If your body wants to adjust a little, let it. Be curious how it feels as your body relaxes. (Resist any temptation to analyze or think.)
