Self-Discovery Guidelines to Access and Activate:
Confidence

Take your time, go slowly, and be patient with yourself to get the best results.

1. Feel your body, take a few moments to settle in. Your body holds deep wisdom. Trust in it. Learn from it. Connect with it.

2. Focus on and bring your awareness to the specific Inner Resource of Confidence.

Explore the following questions:

Writing down your insights is very helpful, and we encourage you to keep a journal of your explorations, so grab a journal or a pad of paper now!

What about myself do I feel genuinely and authentically confident about? 

For example, “I feel confident when I _______.” (Start by thinking of simple things, such as: “I feel confident when I … wash the dishes, garden, give a hug, offer a compliment to someone, etc.) 

Think of one thing. 

Then, think of another. 

Then, think of one more. 

Take a few minutes to gently allow and let things emerge in you.

What do I feel confident about in myself? Not just what I do, but who I am?

Bring in more awareness to these feelings. Notice how it feels to acknowledge these things.

Notice how it feels in your body and with all your senses when you feel confident about something.

Think of a few more things if you want to and keep noticing all day. Carry it with you how it feels to access and activate your self-confidence.

Keep noticing how it feels to settle in and focus on the feelings of confidence in your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual body. 

Say something positive about yourself to someone you trust. Such as, “I feel confident about myself when I  ____” . Notice how that feels.

Remember that writing down your insights can be very helpful.
