Why People’s Opinions of You Aren’t Real
Holding strong to who you are frees you from being chained to the opinions of others

One of the most liberating things you can do for yourself is not to take anything that happens to you in life personally. We can be so chained to and desperate for the approval of others, that we alter who we are, and allow our wellbeing and happiness to be knocked off centre when a person in our life rejects us or gives us the disapproving eye.

To be going up and down with the approval of others is a rather choppy rollercoaster. We need to have a strong internal sense of ourselves that remains unaffected by the whims of other’s moods. The partner who yells at you, or the snappy shopkeeper have stuff going on in their lives. Stuff that has nothing to do with you. If you take it personally you spiral down, and may land up in conflict. This video will inspire you to hold strong to who you are and express your uniqueness. (Source YouTube).
