Due to hard work, determination, a bit of luck or at least we’ll say an openness to spontaneity; I’ve been fortunate enough to travel to some of the most remote and breathtaking places on Earth. As a Tattooer and Fine Artist I specialize in sacred geometry, the inspiration often comes from the wisdom of our ancestors, our ancient traditions and key locations around the world. I realized that traveling to places like Egypt, Bali, Morocco, and Nepal were fueling my artistic pursuits while they gave me an invigorated sense of purpose. Not only were these trips enjoyable, but they became an essential part of my workflow and spiritual practice.
The active mind and heart have too many ideas and incredible locations to visit, they feed off each other and manifest life into an endless adventure. I believe in always finding ways to stay inspired, educated and aware of the undiscovered wonders of life. Those things will never be found sitting on the couch or staying close to home. The power of travel, intentionally integrated within your passions and even your career can be life-changing. It keeps the soul curious and strong.
Exploration for Growth and Discovery
As I travel the globe I see so many different types of individuals with unique tattoos, and in turn, stories to tell about a life well-lived. Some of those tattoos told stories of struggles, paid tribute to family and friends lost or simply were an expression of their personal tastes and style. Tattoos are indeed an icebreaker in my conversations but are also a point of conversation in pop culture and deeply personal to many others. The style of tattooing you may see in one country will likely be completely different from those you find back here in the States. I absolutely love that, and without my travels to unique locations, I would never see these things face to face.
Some of my travels have been for work, ranging from tattoo conventions to visiting clients in obscure locations. My tattoos tell a story, I can remember a specific time and place in my life when I look at each tattoo from head to toe. From tattooing myself inside the Great Pyramid of Egypt, to 17,500 ft. elevation on Mount Everest, some of my tattoos are indeed spiritual in nature and intentional as they serve as a way for me to connect with nature and the energy of the universe. Not everyone has tattoos for those reasons, some choose something simply for aesthetics. A tattoo is a permanent reminder of impermanence and a reminder of our physical mortality.

I believe we all have a unique way to explore our journey here on Earth. This can be through meditation, going on a hike, playing in the ocean, or creating art, there are infinite expressions within this human condition. Two of my favorite soul-enriching experiences just happen to be tattooing and travel, and I hope that you find what works for you. I hope you find a way into your creative soul and life expression. I hope that they can harmonize to bring you a deeply fulfilled life with a strong sense of purpose. I hope that peace and stimulation are the warp and the weft of your fabulously unique life tapestry that you call you.

I can relate to your perspective as a traveler. I believe that adventure is what one creates it to be…traveling far & wide on Earth, traveling out in the cosmos through the mind & traveling deep within to the heart center…its’ all a great adventure…we are all explorers & travelers even those who prefer to stay on the sofa & read…or write that too is great adventure…our souls are insatiable and that’s why we are in constant motion for the next adventure…I am just an observation with a long life behind me of adventure & continuous explorations…travel on in peace my fellow soul traveler!
