Simply saying ‘I Love You’

Simply saying ‘I Love You’

Love Risks Everything and Asks for Nothing – Rumi

Catching the eye of a stranger in the supermarket, on the street, or anywhere and quietly saying ‘I love you’ and just keep walking. The first thing that happens is the person will open their mouth. Just keep walking. No response is required from the other person. I’m an 85-year-old woman and I have been doing this for years. The point is to say ‘I love you’ and keep on about your business.

It may be easier for an old lady, but anyone can do it. Remember, no response is required, although some people will respond with a reply of ‘I love you too’, or some other appreciative response.

Good luck and, I love you, whoever you are.
