In This Present Moment

Give yourself a little time to slow down
and be present, if you are willing to,
right now.

Free yourself
for several, quiet, spacious, minutes,
just for you.

Take some deep breaths.
Feel your body.
Feel into your heart space.
Breathe into your heart space.
Keep breathing.

As human beings, we utilize time.
We live in the construct of time,
but the truth is,
it’s always right now.

Whenever you check in,
it’s always right now,
isn’t it?

There really never is any other time.

Breathe yourself into this present moment.

Let this moment be empty, fresh, and unknown.

Feel the aliveness of your body.

Breathe into your heart space.

Feel into your heart space.

Keep breathing.

There is no past, and no future
in this present moment.

What we call ‘the past’ is just thought,
memories that are recalled
in this present moment.

What we call “the future” exists only as potential,
just thoughts, plans, and ideas,
in this present moment.

You will become more familiar with this ever-present moment
through your awareness of how it feels
to be present right now.

You can trust that all you need
is always offered here, in this present moment.

This is your power place, the seat of your authenticity,
the home of your truth.
It’s where you meet your infinite being,
and your original innocence.

Take another deeper breath,
and let yourself relax, soften, and release a little more.

And as you pay attention to this present moment,
see if you can discover when this moment
turns into the next moment.

Give yourself a minute to really look and see.

The content can change, but does the moment?

It is here,
in this present moment
where you discover the presence of unconditional love
and the peace that is beyond all understanding.

Keep breathing consciously,
because your breath is a portal,
always instantly revealing
this present moment.

We all get distracted, fascinated, and feel compelled
to fulfill our responsibilities. Yes.

Yet the mystery is real, and the truth reveals
that you will be better at all you need and want to do,
when you anchor yourself
in this present moment.

It’s always your choice,
where you place your focus, what you focus on,
and from where within you, you meet the world.

So just remember,
that pausing for a few deep breaths, and feeling your body,
will bring you into the infinite presence
of your own heart space.

You can discover and find any way you like
to pause and anchor yourself in the present moment.

And because any moment
is always this moment,

– right – now –

is always the best time
to pause and breathe into your heart space,
so you can feel the love, the peace, and the compassion
within you, guiding you.

It’s a place of greater perspective,
a place of freedom,
a place where you can trust
your loving self.

Curiosity

Curiosity is our natural ability to look at things with fresh eyes. As we put aside opinions, concepts, projections, and expectations: we become available to experience this moment with the wonder and innocence of a child. 

Being curious brings us into a natural, open, and vast space to explore: “What is this?” “What am I experiencing?” “What am I feeling?”

4. Bring more awareness to what you are feeling. Focus on your felt experience and the qualities of the Inner Resource as you embody it. Resist the habit to analyze. Simply feel your body and emotions. 

5. Be open to your current experience, whatever it is, without judgment. Just ride the wave of the experience.

6. Remember that the quality of your attention and what you are feeling are more important than the content. Notice how your attention changes, waxing and waning, growing stronger, and sometimes getting distracted. No worries, simply bring your awareness back to the moment, take a deep breath, and focus on the Inner Resource.

7. Become familiar with the feelings and sensations of the Inner Resource you have chosen. Feel what is showing up in your physical body and your emotional body. Be curious to discover how this Inner Resource will support you in your life, to be who you really want to be, and feel how you really want to feel. It is through feeling the Inner Resource that you activate the frequency of it. 

Take 5 Deep Breaths

1. Feel your body.

2. Relax your shoulders.

3. Choose a word that makes you feel peaceful, such as om, peace, or love.

4. Inhale slowly while mentally saying the word you chose. Pause before starting the exhalation.

5. Exhale slowly while mentally saying 1 with the first breath. Exhale saying 2 with the second breath, up to 5 or more.

Feel Your Body

Relax your body, and just be aware of how your body feels. Be curious about what is happening in your body. Without changing anything, just notice what you are feeling. Notice where you are feeling things in your body. Make yourself more comfortable if you’d like. Take a deep breath, and feel the sensation of aliveness and the energy of your body.
