Is happiness really hidden in a spot somewhere?
Only sought after a badge of honour you wear
Through toils and moils which you don’t care
Is pure happiness truly so distant and rare?
Your passions choose the pain over the pleasures
Beyond the comfort zones, you seek the treasures
Medals and trophies become the success measures
Is happiness truly received only after so many pressures?
Life is meaningless without a goal, you believe
And turn it into a battlefield you never want to leave
Without achievement, you say there’s no success
Is happiness so far away, only inside that process?
You see happiness caged inside the prestige and money
And rate every moment as you pass your journey
Yet leading everything to an end ultimately
Is happiness really encountered so remotely?
