As I reflect and look back on the year that has passed
It gives an illusion that time has gone by so fast
This year has wrecked chaos on so many minds
Consumed by stagnant thoughts and judgments on all of mankind
In the depth of the reflection ripples a spectrum of emotions
Searching deep into my soul has been my one devotion
Connecting to the now became a sweet saving grace
Anchoring roots deep down to stabilise my base
Nature reminds me we are a forever changing earth
And when the light starts streaming down the world can replenish and rebirth
Old habits, ideas and behaviours will slowly start to decease
This year has been a gift to find a great inner peace.
